about

The Gibb is a hamlet in Wiltshire on the B4039, about 15 miles east of Bristol. It's thought to take its name from a nineteenth century inn named The Gibraltar.

This track started with the looped phrase with vibrato, just because I got a vibrato pedal and wanted to use it. I couldn't get it to sound like Roy Montgomery's 'Scenes From The South Island', which contains the finest vibrato I know, but maybe he wasn't using a £30 Behringer pedal. He's also a genius.

I like the wooziness of vibrato though. Like the guitar's a bit pissed.
